We will hold a 2day seminar entitled "Be a professional-A series of Leadership Development Seminar for Female Researchers" from January 21 to 22, 2020.
Dr. Irina Filonois from Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) is invited as a lecturer.*It is possible to attend from one frame.

Title “Overcoming self-doubt for women in research”

· Understand what imposter fears are and learn to recognize them;
· Be able to identify cognitive distortions that prevent women from taking actions;
· Identify strategies to overcome self-doubt and build resilience.

Lecturer

Dr. Irina Filonova is an academic developer at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, Okinawa (OIST), Japan. She helps early career researchers from over 40 countries to find academic and non-academic jobs across the globe. In addition, Dr. Filonova develops professional & career development programs, and teaches researcher how to reach their top personal and professional goals.
Dr. Filonova received B.S. in Biology and Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (Neuroscience) form the Medical School, University of South Florida and completed a 3-year postdoc at UT Southwestern, Dallas, TX, USA before moving into her new professional role in Japan in 2014.
